Flip-style foldable phones have been introduced in China by brands such as Vivo, Samsung, Motorola, Huawei, Oppo, and Honor. But Xiaomi is the only well-known brand that hasn’t introduced one. The foldable phone that looks like a flip will make its domestic debut on July 19—it’s called the Xiaomi Mix Flip. Along with the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Redmi K70 Ultra, Watch S4 Sport, Smart Band 9, and Buds 5, Xiaomi will also be announcing the Mix Flip.
Xiaomi Mix Flip design
Three colors, including black, white, and purple, are indicated by the Xiaomi Mix Flip. The purple variation appears to have a two-tone finish on the underside.
The cover display, which features two cutouts for the vertical dual camera system, takes up the whole upper half of the Xiaomi Mix Flip’s back panel. With certain software features, the cover screen space can be split into two sections: the remaining area can be used to display the wallpaper, while the area beneath the dual-camera arrangement can show notifications.
Two holes on the phone’s top edge may be for an IR blaster and/or microphone. In contrast, a SIM slot, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker are located on the bottom edge. The item looks to have a blank left side and a volume rocker and power key on its right side.
