Xiaomi Announces Redmi Note 13 5G Series HyperOS Update in India
For the Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G models in India, Xiaomi has announced the launch of HyperOS 1.0. When these smartphones were first released a year ago, MIUI 14 was installed on top of Android 13.
With the promise of smoother gameplay and reduced power consumption, HyperOS provides “comprehensive refactoring” for improved performance across all platforms. By dividing jobs among several computing units, task scheduling is also enhanced to maximize performance. To further increase the capabilities of the devices, numerous modifications have been made to the underlying technology stack.
A completely revamped Control Center with no icon labels, interactive notifications, a new File Manager app with improved categorizations, a new personalized lock screen, and new weather animations are all included.
Expect this rollout to go in phases, as is customary with all such rollouts, and to affect all devices in question only after a few days, if not weeks.
