Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC: Price, Specifications

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra, the company’s newest flagship smartphone, was formally unveiled during a Chinese event. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU and features a 6.73-inch LTPO display with a peak HDR brightness of 3,200 nits and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz.On 2 March 2025, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available in international regions, including India.
Price and Availability
Price: In China, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is priced at 6,499 Yuan, or roughly Rs 78,000.Up to 1TB of storage capacity is available. In China, it may be purchased at Mi Mall.
Availability: On March 2, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will make its global debut.
Color Options: It is available in four different color options: white, black, classic black and silver with a faux leather finish, and pine and cypress green.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Specifications
Display and Processor: With a dynamic screen refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a P3 broad color gamut, a peak brightness of 3,200 nits, compatibility for HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, it has a 6.73-inch AMOLED micro-curved 2K display.
Processor: The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite system-on-chip (SoC) powers it.
Storage: Up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, and an Adreno 830 GPU are all included with Qualcomm’s flagship octa-core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which has a maximum clock speed of 4.32GHz.
Camera: The addition of a 200MP periscope camera with a 4.3x magnification, intended to improve low-light shooting, is this year’s biggest improvement. This lens replaces its predecessor’s 5x zoom lens, however it has a faster aperture and a bigger sensor to perform better in difficult lighting situations.
All three of the other back cameras have 50MP sensors. The aperture of the primary camera is now fixed at f/1.63.
Battery and charging: The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a 6,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly at 90W (wired) and 80W (wireless). Reverse wireless charging is also supported. 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, and USB Type-C are among the smartphone’s connectivity choices. It has an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Additionally, the phone is IP68 rated for protection to dust and splashes.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra: Additional Features
In its recently released smartphone, Xiaomi has added a larger battery. For resistance to dust and water, the 15 Ultra maintains its IP68 designation.However, the addition of the 200MP periscope lens is the most significant change.
