Wicked: For Good Trailer at CinemaCon Features Dorothy’s First Look and a Wedding

Wicked: For Good is the next sequel to Wicked, which came out in November 2024. The film is an adaptation of the second half of Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman’s well-known Broadway musical. As Glinda and Elphaba Thropp, respectively, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo return to their roles.

According to the trailer’s description, it has the first glimpse of Dorothy albeit one that doesn’t reveal her face as well as a wedding, flying monkeys, and golden bricks. The two witches deal with the fallout from their decisions in the second movie. The video depicts Glinda cautioning her, implying that their close and enduring friendship is far from ended.
Fiyero Tigelaar (played by Jonathan Bailey) and Glinda had a highly public engagement in the second act of the Wicked musical, but they do not end up being married. Given how many of the events in the novel parallel those in The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy also plays a part.
