Born into a family of athletes in Utah, Smithfield, Dakota Elder would often spend his days playing basketball non stop. He then found his way onto TikTok after breaking his ribs at a professional dunking contest. Ever since he has amassed over 51 million likes to date. How does it feel being a famous influencer ?
Being a famous influencer is a lot of fun. The biggest difference is going places and hearing random people talk about you. And strangers come up knowing your name, definitely something that will take time getting used to.
What is your favourite part about being a Tik Tok?
My favorite thing about TikTok is the money and perks of having famous people. I look up to actually knowing who I am and becoming friends with them.
Who is your dream collaborator?
My dream collaboration is with Addison Rae. I feel like we will collaborate eventually.
Who is the biggest TikTok influencer that reached out to you?
The biggest TikToker who reached out was Dixie D’amelio. I was very surprised because I was not even following her so it took me a couple weeks before I even noticed she had reached out.
What are your top 5 favourite challenges
I actually do not participate in challenges, but I like what Mr Beast does.
In regards to the growth of your TIkTok account, what are some goals you have for 2021?
My goal for TikTok in 2021 is 10 million followers by the end of the year! I believe I can get there pretty easily if I am consistent.

My favorite video is definitely the video where I pretended to be a nerd playing basketball and ended up dunking on everyone in the gym
