DaphoDILL’s talents intertwine between two different paths in life; from a militant training career she adhered to, and the musical edge she gives to her lifestyle. The 27-year-old Mississippi based artist, makes music that signifies both trauma and abuse through adolescence, as well as promoting spiritual love for oneself in a more divine light. Releasing a book in the year of 2021, “Colors of Blue Shades of Black, she defines trauma of the mind, in the construction of damage, one can receive from love never given to themselves. She brought that trauma to her music and exploited the escape she traveled to, on the path for others to understand it as well. By bringing notice to the mental health one can have, she forced people to talk about it. She is growing into a pioneer of her expressional visuals sought out by her sedation of peace, calm, destruction and rage. We first sought out DaphoDILL after she released a single titled “All Facts” featuring super-producer ZAYTOVEN. Since then, DaphoDILL has managed to seek many more accolades in her career of music, defining what not yet people have begun to completely see. She says, “Defining one’s visual talent is all within the construction and rage of the artist, and where there mind goes from deep within. People rarely see your vision, until your visuals lead to constructive rage in art; and I think that is so beautiful.” DaphoDILL has created a spectrum about not only her music and her life, but a speak-easy persona about rage in the world that people fail to see in themselves, that make them heal; within that they began to heal others. Thenceforth, DaphoDILL has released singles such as “I’m Rolling Jimmy”, “Misplaced A Misses”, “G.A.B. HIGH (goofy a** b**ches)”, “Black Shades and Blue Colors”, that all lead up to her prominent album “Anomalous” where talks more about destruction. She has began to create platforms such as “Gravity Hanging Podcast” to talk about the issues in the world, as well building platforms for other artist to join with their visuals in the arts.
