Tuscadero Paint Gives the Jeep Gladiator a Lovely Pink Appearance
The famous Tuscadero paint option has been added to the color pallet, making the 2024 Jeep Gladiator appear great in pink.
Taking its name from the 1970s sitcom character Pinky Tuscadero, “Happy Days,” this is the first time Jeep has put Tuscadero on the Gladiator. Beginning with the Wrangler model in 2021, the color was offered again as an option by 2024.
Based on customer demand, Jeep decided to add Tuscadero to the Gladiator and bring it back for the Wrangler. Upon the color’s initial release for the 2021 model year, more than 30,000 buyers placed orders for Wranglers painted in Tuscadero, according to the manufacturer.
The 2024 Gladiator’s Tuscadero option costs $895, the same as the Wrangler. Orders for the Sport, Mojave, and Rubicon grades are now being accepted, with the first cars expected to hit dealerships this summer.
Customers will be able to order the color through the conclusion of the 2024 model year, according to Jeep, and it will be available on other Gladiator grades later this quarter. However, the company does not address availability after 2024.
The 2024 Gladiator, which made its debut at the 2023 Detroit auto show, has been redesigned with a new grille, a 12.3-inch touchscreen screen, and side-curtain airbags as standard. More features are added to the Rubicon and Mojave grades with the release of the Mojave X and Rubicon X grades. The price is still less than $40,000.
This week, Jeep brand manager Bill Peffer revealed the existence of a Gladiator 4xe plug-in hybrid model to go along with the current Wrangler and Grand Cherokee 4xe models in a LinkedIn post. It will launch on the market “later next year,” according to Peffer. In the United States, it is anticipated to be available for the 2025 model year.
