The diet has a strong emphasis on foods high in fiber, potassium, calcium, and magnesium nutrients that reduce blood pressure. The MIND diet, which includes the top two options and emphasizes enhancing brain health via the Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neuro generative Delay, comes in third place.
The vegan diet made its debut in the annual review and finished tenth on the list of the best diets overall. The WeightWatchers, Mayo Clinic, and flexitarian diets are among the other popular diets on the list.
