Chunky Panday lauded his daughter Ananya Panday’s conduct during her recent appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, for which she received praise from fans as well. He said that she ‘should never lose that honesty in her.
After his daughter, actor Ananya Panday, recently appeared on director Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan 7, actor Chunky Panday lauded his daughter. Chunky Panday responded to Ananya’s behavior on the show in a recent interview and advised her to “never lose” her honesty. Ananya’s’mature’s approach to challenging circumstances on the show was also lauded by viewers.
Ananya and actor Vijay Deverakonda appeared on a recent episode of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 7, which was hosted by Karan. In their upcoming movie Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh and made by Karan, the pair will be seen working together for the first time. Fans have praised Ananya for confronting Vijay about the misogyny in his successful movie Arjun Reddy.
Chunky talked to the Times of India about Ananya, “I feel fantastic right now. In KWK, she was so polished (Koffee With Karan). She makes me very proud, and I believe she should never lose her integrity.”
Karan Johar questioned her about her feelings for Arjun Reddy, the role Vijay played in the corresponding movie, on the show. Ananya retorted that she wouldn’t be comfortable with the movie’s romantic relationship. She remarked, “Honestly, I think there are individuals like that if people have approached him (Vijay Deverakonda). Just not in my immediate vicinity. And I wouldn’t suggest any of my pals do the same. But I’m simply like that.
Ananya also acted as the peacemaker between Karan and actor Kartik Aaryan, who had fallen out a couple of years ago. In the final quiz round of the show, Karan asked both Ananya and Vijay to call up celebrities and make them say, ‘Hey Karan it’s me.’ Ananya called up Kartik and asked him to help her. He agreed and said, ‘Hey Karan it’s me’. Later, Karan thanked Kartik for participating in the game.
Ananya will be next seen in Liger, which is all set to hit theatres on August 25. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. She will also be seen in Arjun Varian Singh’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourava and is written by Arjun, along with Zoya Akhtar, and Reema Kagti.
