After much anticipation, Tata Motors has finally introduced the much-needed Altroz Racer premium hot hatch in India. This is a sportier version of the company’s well-known hatchback. The Tata Altroz Racer will be offered for sale alongside the regular Altroz, giving buyers a choice between the Altroz CNG, Altroz petrol or diesel, and the Altroz Racer.
1. Tata Altroz Racer: Cost and available options
The ex-showroom price range for the recently released Tata Altroz Racer hatchback is 9.49 lakh to 10.99 lakh. There are three different versions of the hatchback: R1, R2, and R3. The R3 is the top-tier trim, and the R1 is the base trim. The ex-showroom pricing of the R2 is 10.49 lakh.
2. Colors in Tata Altroz Racer
Three exterior color options are available for the Tata Altroz Racer. Avenue White, Pure Grey, and Atomic Orange are these. As standard, all of these exterior colors have a dual-tone black finish with white stripes.
3. Style of Tata Altroz Racer
What sets the Tata Altrz Racer apart from the regular Altroz hatchback is its dual-tone paint scheme, which is the first obvious difference. Twin white stripes that cross the car’s dual-tone bonnet and roof draw attention to the exterior color of the recently introduced Altroz Racer. The hatchback’s black treatment on the front grille, pillars, ORVMs, shark fin antenna, and alloy wheels are some of its other design features. In addition, the vehicle is adorned with Racer insignia everywhere. In addition, the dual-tip exhaust system and black Altroz writing on the tailgate further improve its aesthetic appeal and set it apart from the regular Altroz.
4. Inside of Tata Altroz Racer
The Tata Altroz Racer has a sporty attitude throughout, not just on the outside. It receives a cabin that is completely black with a striking red accent. The red garnish is also present on the center console, AC vents, dashboard, and seat upholstery. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system on the Altroz Racer is equipped with wireless smartphone connectivity. The seven-inch completely digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, air purifier, automatic climate control, cruise control, 360-degree surround-view camera, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, blind-spot monitor, and electrically adjustable single-pane sunroof are among the additional features.
5. Engine of the Tata Altroz Racer
The twin-turbocharged, 1.2-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine from the Tata Nexon powers the hatchback Altroz Racer. Since there is no automatic version available for the Altro Racer, this engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The engine can produce a maximum torque of 170 Nm and a peak power of 118 horsepower.
