The official “Slash” soundtrack for Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine film will be released by K-pop group Stray Kids. One day prior to the release of their return album, Stray Kids revealed the release date of their tune, Deadpool 3.
Ryan Reynolds, the actor of Deadpool, is friends with Bang Chan and Felix from Stray Kids for a number of years. According to fan speculation, the song has been in the works for some time. But Deadpool and Stray Kids’ crossover goes beyond the song’s release for the next Marvel movie.
Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds made an appearance in the music video for Stray Kids’ new title tune, “Chk Chk Boom,” prior to the release of the Deadpool & Wolverine soundtrack. For fans throughout the globe, this was a heart-stopping moment since it’s not often that two Hollywood A-listers appear together in a K-pop song video.
Deadpool 3 Stray Kids song “Slash” release date announced
The new Deadpool & Wolverine song from Stray Kids, “Slash,” will be available everywhere on July 24. The song is included on the 18-song soundtrack, which also included Hugh Jackman’s performance of “The Greatest Show” from The Greatest Showman.
The vinyl CD, which will be available starting on July 26, will also include Stray Kids’ “Slash,” following its digital release. Along with the digital deluxe edition soundtrack, which contains both songs and the score, Marvel also disclosed in a press statement that “The Deadpool & Wolverine Original Score digital album, with music by composer Rob Simonsen, will also be available in ATMOS on July 24.”
