Based on the Power Wagon and Rebel Heavy Duty trim levels and with lunar inspiration, Ram has introduced a pair of stunning limited-edition heavy-duty pickup trucks. Compared to their normal counterparts, the Lunar Editions offer a little bit more functionality and additional visual flair.
The Lunar Editions are distinguished visually by a body-color front logo, gloss-black side graphics, powder-coated bumpers and wheel arches, a distinctive Ceramic Grey paint color, and two-tone black tow mirrors. The color scheme of black and gray is intended to resemble the moon’s color scheme. Both trucks have 33-inch tall tires, however the Rebel has 20-inch black wheels while the Power Wagon has 17-inch black wheels with a factory two-inch raise. Built into each model’s bumper is a 12k-pound Warn winch that is installed by the factory.
Black leather and bright Surf Blue embroidery are paired in the cabin. The door, instrument panel, and console all with Ram TRX Twill Film accents. The console lid has a die-cast metal insignia with the words “Power Wagon” or “Rebel” etched in Satin Chrome lettering. An added feature for each trim level is the addition of a wireless charging pad to both trucks.
The Power Wagon’s standard HD 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine produces 429 pound-feet of torque and 410 horsepower for all four wheels. The powerful 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six engine in the Rebel generates 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. The Cummins diesel vehicle can tow a total of 14,900 pounds, while the Hemi-powered truck can haul 10,610 pounds.
Although either vehicle can be ordered with the air-ride rear suspension as an option, both trucks have coil-spring rear suspensions as standard. Up to its maximum payload of 3690 pounds, the optional suspension automatically levels the vehicle when it is pulling a trailer.
Orders for both vehicles are now being accepted, and delivery is scheduled to begin in October. The Rebel Lunar Edition starts at $85,490, while the Power Wagon Lunar Edition starts at $75,205.
