The unconventional title of the movie has piqued the interest of viewers. The term ‘Kakuda’ in Sanskrit describes the hump on an Indian bull’s shoulders. This is consistent with the trailer, which shows the evil ghost torturing the man of the house until the thirteenth day, when he dies from a developing hump.
