Sega announces Space Channel 5 and Comics Zone movies
Sega has had such success with the Sonic the Hedgehog movies that it has already locked down a third film and confirmed a separate television series starring Knuckles. If that wasn’t enough, it’s now officially confirmed that there will be Space Channel 5 and Comics Zone adaptations.
The music game Space Channel 5, starring Ulla, debuted in 1999 on the Dreamcast and also received a GBA version in 2003. You may know this character from her appearances in other games like Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing.
For Comics Zone, you can get History Lessons via Switch Online + Expansion Pack Mega Drive / Genesis Library. This is Beat ‘Em Up released on this system in 1995. Speaking of beat ’em ups, a Streets of Rage movie is also in development.
