On the first day of March, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy S24 series. They are currently rolling out the March Android update to more devices, such as the Fold/Flip 5 series, Galaxy S23, and Galaxy S22.
Sadly, you might be let down if you were hoping for significant updates or new features with this release. since all of these smartphones have already received updates to One UI 6 and Android 14 in recent months, they are currently in-between major updates. Rather, Verizon notes that this update “provides the most up to date Android security patches on your device,” indicating that these are security patches instead.
Nevertheless, Samsung promised to release One UI 6.1 from the Galaxy S24 to a number of these smartphones before the end of March. The One UI 6.1 upgrade will introduce Galaxy AI along with many other delights when it launches for the Galaxy S23 series, Fold 5, and Flip 5.
