Singer and songwriter Rosa Nice has yet another accomplishment to add to 2021. Rosa announced in the last week of March that she has been crowned as Ms. Pennsylvania Curve’ 2021 through the Mrs. Globe pageant. She will be competing for the title of Ms. USA Curve’ in Palm Springs California in June of 2021. Mrs. Globe is not just a beauty pageant, but it is also a fundraiser for the W.I.N. Foundation, also known as the Women In Need, foundation which provides resources to women affected by abuse. Rosa often mentions her past abusive relationships and marriage in her music and in her interviews, and now she is using that pain to empower other women who are experiencing domestic violence and the turmoil which accompanies it. Giving back is not new to Rosa Nice who is currently involved with multiple charities and women’s organizations, and she sits on the board of directors for The City of Dreams Coalition in Philadelphia. She’s been a volunteer for HeadCount, a voting rights organization, a volunteer for Women Against Rape, and she participated in the first annual Philadelphia Commission on the state of Women and Girls’ event. Rosa is an advocate for
social justice reform, and is pleased to be representing the W.I.N. foundation, Mrs. Globe, and all of the plus size women who look in magazines and don’t see themselves. Rosa Nice was recently featured in the Spring 2021 edition of FABUPLUS, the premier, and leading, print magazine for plus-size models and women. You can buy the magazine in all Barnes & Nobles.
