Redmi Buds 6 Active, Lite, and Play Make Their Global Market Debuts

Three new TWS earbuds have been released by Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi for international markets. Redmi Buds 6 Active, Redmi Buds 6 Lite, and Redmi Buds 6 Play are a few of these. The global version of the initial model, which debuted in China earlier in May of this year, is identical to the Chinese model. The most recent products differ greatly from one another.

Specifications of the Redmi Buds 6 series

They come with a stem and silicone ear tips, starting with the recently released Redmi Buds 6 Lite. With a 12.4mm titanium diaphragm driver, the TWS earphone can reduce ambient noise by up to 40dB ANC. AI noise reduction is integrated into both microphones to provide pristine audio clarity during calls. With the pebble-shaped charging case, the Buds 6 Lite offer a total battery life of 38 hours and 7 hours of use.

Regarding the Redmi Buds 6 Play, they are packaged in a square box with silicone ear tips and an in-ear design without a stem. The audio device has AI noise reduction built in and 10mm dynamic drivers. It has a battery life of up to 36 hours, and three hours of playing are reportedly possible with a 10-minute charge.

The Redmi Buds 6 Active bears resemblance to the Chinese version. It boasts a 14.2mm dynamic driver that Xiaomi Acoustic Lab fine-tuned to deliver a powerful, deep bass sound. Furthermore supported is spatial audio. Like the Buds 6 Lite, the TWS earphones have two microphones, AI noise cancellation, and wind noise reduction. The earphone stem of the audio gadget features a shiny strip that runs vertically. The earphones are packaged in a square casing with a clear cover and a 30-hour battery life.

The three recently released Redmi Buds 6 series TWS earphones are equipped with Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.4. They come in three color options: blue, white, and black. The Buds 6 Active costs $14.90 and is available in a pink shade as well. In the UK, EU, and Japan, the Redmi Buds 6 Lite costs £15/EUR 15/Yen 2,480, accordingly. The Rakuten website offers the Redmi Buds 6 Play for Yen 1,380 in Japan.
