The newest gaming smartphones from ZTE sub-brand Nubia, the Red Magic 10 Pro+ and Red Magic 10 Pro, were introduced in China. With the exception of the battery and charging speed, the internal components of both devices are comparable. They have a Snapdragon 8 Elite “Extreme Edition” processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and 1TB of internal storage. Both phones have a triple back camera configuration and a 1.5K display. The Red Magic 10 Pro features a smaller 6,500mAh battery that can be charged at 80W, whilst the Red Magic 10 Pro+ has a 7,050mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
Price and Availability of Red Magic 10 Pro+ and Red Magic 10 Pro
The RedMagic 10 Pro+ comes in a Dark Knight color scheme and is priced at CNY 5,999 (about Rs. 72,000) for the 16GB + 512GB model. For the same RAM and storage combination, the Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night and Silver Wing color versions (translated from Chinese) cost CNY 6,299, or approximately Rs. 74,000. The cost of the 24GB + 1TB version is CNY 7,499, or approximately Rs. 88,000.
The price of the limited-edition Red Magic 10 Pro Golden Saga variant, which has a golden finish and 24GB and 1TB of storage, is CNY 9,499 (about Rs. 1,11,000).
In the meantime, the 12GB + 256GB edition of the Red Magic 10 Pro costs CNY 4,999, or around Rs. 58,000. It costs CNY 5,499 (about Rs. 64,000) for the 12GB + 512GB model. Additionally, it is available in the following colors: Transparent Silver Wing, Deuterium Front Transparent Dark Night, and Dark Knight.
Pre-orders for both versions are now being accepted in China, and delivery is scheduled to start on November 18.
Specifications for the Red Magic 10 Pro and Pro+
The dual-SIM (Nano) Red Magic 10 Pro+ and Red Magic 10 Pro are powered by Redmagic AI OS 10.0, which is based on Android 15. They have a 6.8-inch 1.5K (1,216×2,688 pixel) BOE Q9+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 960 Hz, a peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, and a PWM dimming of 2,592 Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Elite ‘Extreme Edition’ processor, which powers the new phones, has up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
A 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E40 sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor make up the triple rear camera configuration seen on the Red Magic 10 Pro+ and Red Magic 10 Pro. A 16-megapixel under-display front-facing camera is used for selfies and video calls.
The company’s ICE X cooling technology, which includes a 5,200 sq mm superconducting copper foil and a 12,000 sq mm 3D vapour chamber for thermal management, is included with the Red Magic 10 Pro line. For haptics, both phones include a twin X-axis linear motor. The smartphones have a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, 5G, and 4G LTE connectivity options. They have stereo speakers, three microphones, and 520Hz gaming shoulder keys.
