A new low-cost tablet called the Pad 2 Lite was unveiled by Realme today in India. The Realme P2 Pro 5G smartphone and tablet were unveiled together, with the tablet emphasizing value delivery at an affordable price.
The Specifications of the Realme Pad 2 Lite
A 10.95-inch 2K Super Display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz serves as the focal point of the Pad 2 Lite. At 450 nits, the panel’s max brightness, it boasts an 85.2% screen-to-body ratio.
The MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a well-liked option in the low-cost category, powers the Pad 2 Lite motherboard. For graphics, an ARM Mali GPU is used in conjunction with it.
The higher-tier model has 8GB of RAM, while the base model has 4GB. Both RAM variants are LPDDR4X, and Realme’s “Dynamic RAM” technology allows the 8GB RAM model to allocate an extra 8GB from storage.
There are two storage capacities: 128GB and 256GB. A microSD card slot allows for additional expansion of up to 1TB of storage.
Realme UI 5.0 for Pad, which is preinstalled on the Pad 2 Lite, is based on the most recent version of the Android 14 operating system. Access to the most recent features and security updates is thus guaranteed.
Quad stereo speakers manage the audio experience, and for calls and video conferences, you get two microphones with noise cancellation.
The tablet has a very basic camera setup as well. It has a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP back sensor. It may not be the best for serious photographers, but it should be good enough for simple video chats and document scanning.
Although the Pad 2 Lite has a sizable 8300mAh battery, only 15W of power can be used for charging. Moreover, it has reverse charging capabilities, which lets other devices use it as a power bank.
Cost and Availability
There are two variants of the Realme Pad 2 Lite available: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage for Rs 14,999 (about USD 180) and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage for Rs 16,999 (roughly USD 205).
