For the 2025 model year, Genesis’ best-selling GV80 gets a mid-cycle makeover. Despite all the modifications, the price goes up by just $405.
The 2025 GV80 debuted in the fall of last year, and Genesis has revealed that the midsize SUV will be on sale in the upcoming weeks, with a starting price of $59,050 that includes a $1,350 destination charge. That is approximately where the 2024 model begins.
The 2025 model will include a new dash with floating screens for the infotainment system and digital gauge cluster, new color and wheel options, and modest cosmetic changes. There is also a body type that resembles a coupe; however, the availability and cost of this option are unknown.
The engines of the GV80 have not been modified. The redesigned SUV comes with the same 300 horsepower 2.5-liter turbo-4 and 375 horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine options. With a higher output of 409 horsepower, the 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 engine powering the GV80 Coupe has been revealed. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard on every GV80.
The starting price of $59,050 includes a GV80 with a 2.5-liter turbo-4 engine. Numerous electronic driver-assist systems, aluminum door sill plates, power adjustable front seats, an automated tailgate with hands-free technology, self-leveling rear suspension, 19-inch wheels, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are just a few of the extensive list of standard features.
The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 upgrade will set you back at least $75,150, including delivery. A panoramic sunroof, 20-inch wheels, adjustable suspension, leather upholstery, a head-up display, and other features are all included as standard.
Additionally, Genesis has unveiled an upgraded GV70 small crossover. It will only be available as a 2026 model when it arrives in the United States, so sales there are unlikely to begin until the following year. It is currently on sale in Korea.
