Playy : The Grammy nominated writer fabricating waves as an Artist
Playy apart from writing his own songs has since dropped 2 EPs, singles and featured on a handful of songs which have made him truly arrive on the music scene with a bang.
His talent didn’t go unnoticed, and he was taken under the wings of the legendary Suzanne De Passe of Jackson 5/Motown fame and production titan Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins who made him the first rapper under their joint venture bringing him the much-needed fame which was long due. He went on to create more music which made him a popular name like the one with Twista (“I Do”) and appearance and songwriting credits for songstress Kelly Rowland. Apart from his rapping and writing skills, Playy is also much in demand for his catchy hooks which many artists wanted to incorporate in their songs to get that cutting edge which made their music top the charts. Playy has worked with some of the biggest known names in the music industry. His song ‘Birthday Dress’ featuring Matthew Koma has already garnered a millions views on YouTube making him a popular online sensation.

This young artist from Houston, Texas, was always drawn towards music since his early days, but his family members were against him taking up music as his career. He would sneak out to perform at showcases in Atlanta and was impressed with the Houston based rapper Lil Flip.
