The Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro specifications

A 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels powers the Oppo Reno 12. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides protection for the Reno 12, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is in place for the Reno 12 Pro.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, which is built on a 4nm technology, and the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU power the Reno 12 and 12 Pro variants. The Reno 12 Pro can accommodate up to 512GB of USF 3.1 internal storage, which can be expanded to 1TB using the microSD card slot, and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. However, the Reno 12 is only capable of 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The most recent version of the Android 14 operating system, ColorOS 14.1, powers the Reno 12 series. For these smartphones, Oppo guarantees four years of security patches and three years of operating system updates.

A 50-megapixel Sony LYT 600 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor make up the triple camera configuration of the Reno 12. For video calls and selfies, there’s a 32-megapixel GC32E2 camera on the front.

The Reno 12 Pro sports a Samsung 50-megapixel sensor with a 2-fold optical zoom JN5 telephoto lens in place of its smaller brother’s 2-megapixel macro camera. The Reno 12 Pro shares the same core Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

A 50MP Samsung JN5 selfie camera and a 20x digital zoom are located on the front. Both phones’ rear and selfie cameras can capture 4K video at 30 frames per second.

Regarding connectivity, the Reno 12 series has an infrared blaster, dual speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. It is also IP65 rated, meaning it is resistant to dust and water. It doesn’t completely submerge, though.
