Oppo Find X8, Find X8 Pro With Hasselblad Camera System, Dimensity 9400 SoC Released in India: Cost, Features

The first smartphones using MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor to be released in India were the Oppo Find X8 series, which were unveiled on Thursday. The Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro are part of the range, and both devices include up to four 50-megapixel Hasselblad-tuned cameras. Android 15 and the company’s ColorOS 15 skin are both compatible with the Oppo Find X8 series. The ‘Pro’ variant has a larger 5,910mAh battery than the ordinary model, which has a 5,630mAh battery.

Pricing and Availability of the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro in India

The base variant of the Oppo Find X8 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs. 69,999 in India, while the 16GB+512GB model costs Rs. 79,999. It comes in two color options: Space Black and Star Grey.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro costs Rs. 99,999 in India and comes with a single RAM and storage combination. The phone will be offered in Space Black and Pearl White.

Beginning on December 3, customers will be able to buy the Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro through the Oppo e-store, Flipkart, and local retail locations.

Features and Specifications of the Oppo Find X8

Dual-SIM (Nano+Nano) connectivity is supported by both the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, which are powered by ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. The former has a 6.59-inch (1,256×2,760 pixel) LTPO AMOLED screen with a 460ppi pixel density, a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. With the same refresh rate and maximum brightness level as the standard model, the Pro model boasts a 6.78-inch (1,264×2,780 pixel) LTPO AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 450 ppi.

The octa-core Dimensity 99400 chip from MediaTek, which is based on TSMC’s 3nm process technology, is included in these smartphones for the first time in India. Both variants come with up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 built-in storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The Oppo Find X8 has three cameras: a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom and an f/2.6 aperture; a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view (f/2.0); and a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LTY-700 sensor (f/1.8). The 32-megapixel front-facing selfie camera that comes with the Find X8 Pro model is also included.

In contrast, the Oppo Find X8 Pro has a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom (f/2.6), a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with up to 6x optical zoom (f/4.3), a 50-megapixel primary camera with a LYT-808 sensor (f/1.6), and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field-of-view (f/2.0).

Support for 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS is included on both the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro. Although the Pro model enables speedier USB 3.1 connectivity, they still include a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the phones have an infrared (IR) transmitter that may be used to operate appliances around the house. For biometric authentication, both versions feature an optical fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, magnetometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer.

While the Find X8 Pro has a larger 5,910mAh battery that supports the same charging rates, the Find X8 is equipped with a 5,630mAh silicon carbon battery that can be charged at 80W (SuperVOOC) and 50W (AirVOOC). Additionally, they allow 10W reverse wireless charging. A tri-state alert slider and IP68/IP69 ratings for water and dust protection are features of the Find X8 series.
