Oppo Find N5 launched: The newest book-style foldable smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer, the Oppo Find N5, was released worldwide on Thursday. Among book-style foldable smartphones, it has the biggest inside screen and, when closed, the thinnest. The smartphone has a 5,600mAh battery and a number of AI-powered capabilities despite its thin design. The Find N5 also has a camera system that was jointly created with the Swedish eyewear company Hasselblad.

The Oppo Find N5’s optics include a Hasselblad-branded triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel f/1.8 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and electronic image stabilization (EIS), a 50-megapixel f/2.7 periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens with a 116-degree field of view (FoV) and OIS. The foldable smartphone features an 8-megapixel selfie camera on both the front and rear displays for taking selfies and video chats.
Display:
The dual SIM-capable Oppo N5 will run ColorOS 15, which is based on Android 15. It has a huge 8.12-inch 2K (2,480×2,248) LTPO AMOLED screen with a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz and a pixel density of 412 ppi. The internal screen will have a solid peak brightness of up to 2,100 nits and a touch response rate of up to 240 Hz.
The foldable smartphone also has a cover screen with a 6.62-inch 2K AMOLED display (2,616 x 1,140 pixels) with a pixel density of 431 ppi and a smooth refresh rate of 120 Hz.
AI Feature:
Additionally, it comes with the Oppo AI Toolbox, which includes AI Writer, AI Speak, and AI Summary—all language tools designed to enhance the reading and writing experience by utilizing AI. The phone, which runs ColorOS 15, also comes with a number of photo-editing tools, such as AI Clarity Enhance, AI Erase, AI Unblur, and others.
Connectivity:
5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity features available on the new Oppo Find N5. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the side and dual speakers. The phone has a 5,600mAh dual-cell battery that can be charged with 50W AIRVOOC (wireless) and 80W SUPERVOOC (wired).

The only 16GB + 512GB storage version of the Oppo Find N5 price SGD 2,499, which is the retail pricing. Cosmic Black and Misty White are the color options available with the device. It will be on sale in Singapore as early as February 28.
