ONEPLUS 12R with 8GB RAM and 256GB Storage is now Available in Variant
The new OnePlus 12R variant’s launch in India was announced by OnePlus today. On the other hand, this situation does not involve significant hardware changes. With 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, the business is releasing a new version. The high-end model, which has 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, and the entry-level model, which has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, will be sandwiched by the new model.

The price of the new 8GB/256GB variant is INR 42,999 ($517). For INR 39,999 ($481,82), the entry-level model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage is available. The cost of the more expensive 16GB/256GB version is INR 45,999 ($554). As a result, OnePlus is including a middle-tier option for people who desire greater capacity but are unwilling to shell out the cash for the 16GB RAM, 256GB edition.
Even though the intermediate option offers twice as much RAM as this one, some people won’t bother spending more than $37. That quantity, though, may be evocative to some. If we take into account that prior to this option, users would have had to pay an additional INR 6,000 ($72) for more than 128 GB of storage, that becomes even more expressive.
Beginning on March 21, 12 PM IST, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Amazon.in, OnePlus Experience Stores, and additional offline retail partner stores will sell the new OnePlus 12R with 8GB/256GB. For this version, OnePlus is also offering a few extra deals. Free OnePlus Buds Z2, an instant bank discount of INR 1000 for ICICI and OneCard subscribers, and a free nine-month extended pay period are among the freebies.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is a feature of the OnePlus 12R. It features a 6.78-inch Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protected AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels. With a 50 MP primary camera and optical image stabilization, the phone boasts a triple camera array. The smartphone also sports a 2 MP macro camera and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner are all features of the phone. A 5,500 mAh battery with 100W wired charging powers the gadget.
