New Toyota Camry India Will Go on Sale on December 11 and is Probably Going to be Locally Assembled

The next Toyota Camry car is scheduled to make its debut in India on December 11th. The ninth-generation Toyota Camry will be locally produced in India to attain more competitive price, and it is already available worldwide. Since its initial introduction by Toyota, the hybrid sedan has been in India for 11 years.

What’s new about the ninth-generation Toyota Camry?

The Toyota Camry of the future is a radical change from the one that is already available for purchase in India. Compared to the present model, it has a bigger front grille and sharper headlamps, while the back profile features Lexus-inspired design. The massive radiator grille gives it a strong appearance, and the sleek headlamps have built-in LED daytime running lights.

Although the sedan’s outside has undergone significant change, the interior has also seen minor modifications. A dual-digital display is installed in the cabin, and the center console has been somewhat modified. The vehicle is equipped with features including a JBL music system, Type-C USB charging connections, curtains, seat back screens, and separate climate zones for the backseat passengers. Because of the sedan’s enormous wheelbase, the interior is spacious and comfortable.

With a maximum power output of 222 horsepower, the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the latest generation Toyota Camry sedan. It uses an eCVT gearbox to transmit power to the front wheels. A version of the Toyota Camry sedan with FWD is released for the global market. With a fuel efficiency of 19 km/l, the present Toyota Camry in the Indian market is predicted to have a higher fuel economy in the upcoming model.
