New-Gen Skoda Kodiaq RS Revealed which has a Top Speed of 231 kmph and 261 Horsepower

The performance-focused three-row SUV, the new Kodiaq RS, has been unveiled by Skoda Auto. Together with a sportier exterior and technological advancements, the new Skoda Kodiaq RS has more power than its predecessor. Similar to Skoda’s earlier “RS” models, the new Kodiaq RS pushes the envelope for a more comfortable SUV with a higher rate of acceleration.

Powertrain of the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq RS

A 2.0-liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine designed to generate 261 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque powers the new Skoda Kodiaq RS. Compared to the first generation model, the power has been increased by 20 horsepower and is distributed to all four wheels through the all-wheel drive system and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Kodiaq RS can reach a top speed of 231 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.

A number of hardware enhancements on the new Kodiaq RS significantly improve performance. The SUV has a variety of suspension settings, including Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sport, Individual, and Snow, as well as adaptive dampers.

Visual Upgrades for the Skoda Kodiaq RS

The Dynamic Sound Boost feature, which produces a richer auditory sensation from the exhaust, is also available on the latest generation Skoda Kodiaq RS. The performance SUV’s grille frame, ORVMs, upper portion of the window frames, roof rails, and D-pillar are all gloss black, giving it the RS aesthetic. Additionally, the Kodiaq RS has a revised front bumper, and the Skoda lettering, finished in glossy black, is displayed on the tailgate.

Interior Modifications for the Skoda Kodiaq RS

The interior of the new Kodiaq RS is completely black with red stitching for contrast. While the RS Suite has full leather seats, the inside is covered in RS Suedia with leatherette seats and Suedia microfiber. The inside is equipped with a 10-inch digital instrument console and a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Sometime next year, the latest Skoda Kodiaq is anticipated to reach India. The current version, meanwhile, is still available for ₹39.99 lakh (ex-showroom) across the nation. On November 6, 2024, the brand’s first subcompact SUV will go on sale.
