It’s a new animated musical journey with Moana and Maui. The film “Moana 2” will be released in theaters on Wednesday, November 27, just before Thanksgiving.
The 2016 movie’s Walt Disney sequel has Grammy award-winning music and returning cast members. With an estimated $135 million opening over five days, “Moana 2” is predicted to be one of the biggest films to reach theaters around Thanksgiving, according to Deadline.
When will Moana 2 be available?
Although some cinemas may offer showtimes the day before, the Disney sequel will formally be released in theaters on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
Cast of Moana 2
Dwayne Johnson and American actress Auliʻi Cravalho reprise their roles as Maui and Moana, respectively.
Alongside Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda, Rose Matafeo, David Fane, Hualālai Chung, Awhimai Fraser, and Gerald Ramsey, Temuera Morrison, Nicole Scherzinger, Rachel House, and Alan Tudyk are all returning to their roles from the first movie.
Christina Chen and Yvett Merino are the producers, and David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand, and Dana Ledoux Miller are the directors.
