Tesla has raised the price of the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor All Wheel Drive (AWD) by a little amount once more. The manufacturer of electric vehicles has announced an increase in price for the White Interior option of the revised Model 3 car.
Although the updated Model 3 was first introduced in January 2024 in North America, it has been available since last year in the nations that Giga Shanghai supplies. The all-electric car appears to have attracted a lot of interest since then. The Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor All Wheel Drive, which had a starting price of $45,990, appears to be an example of this.
Tesla increased the price of the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor AWD by $1,000 just a few weeks after the updated model was introduced in North America. The mid-tier Model 3 Long Range now has a starting price of $46,990 due to the price hike. The price of the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor AWD increased once more nine days later, but this time it was only by $500. The base price of the mid-tier upgraded Model 3 car then went up to $47,490.
With the most recent price change of $250, the Model 3 Long Range Dual Motor All Wheel Drive now costs $47,740 before options. This is an even lower increase from the previous pricing.
It’s interesting to note that since the enhanced all-electric sedan was introduced in North America, the base Model 3 Rear Wheel Drive has remained unchanged in pricing. The base improved Model 3 had a starting price of $38,990 when it was first introduced in January 2024. Despite the numerous pricing changes made to the Model 3 Long Range, the Model 3 RWD is still available for $38,990 before options.
In addition to raising the cost of the Model 3 Long Range, Tesla has also raised the cost of the White Interior option for the all-electric vehicle. The revised Model 3 now has an additional $1,500 in cost for the White Interior option. Even now, the White Interior for the Model Y is still an additional $1,000 option to the base pricing of the all-electric crossover.
