The white and black dual-tone exterior of this limited edition MG Hector is accentuated by black design elements and red accents all around. Its blacked-out headlamp housings, all-black grille with a black ‘MG’ emblem, and black skid plate with a silver inset are its standout front features. All-black 18-inch alloy wheels with red brake callipers are mounted along the sides, and the outer rearview mirrors (ORVMs) are also sleekly blacked out.

Smoked linked LED tail lights are located at the back, with a dark chrome garnish located directly below them. The tailgate, ORVMs, and headlamp cluster inserts in red add to the overall sporty appearance. The “Hector” badging at the back is similarly blacked out as it is on the front. There’s also a Snowstorm name on the side that may be placed at the dealership during delivery as an accessory.

You get black leatherette upholstery and an all-black interior design with the Hector Snowstorm. The term “Snowstorm” is also applied to the headrests of the front seats, and the center console, steering wheel, and door handles all have gunmetal accents. Its highlights include a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, an 8-speaker Infinity sound system, and a 14-inch touchscreen.

The Hector Snowstorm is available from MG with a choice of gasoline or diesel engines. The specs are as follows:

Engine1.5-litre turbo-petrol2-litre diesel

An optional petrol manual is not available for the Hector Snowstorm.

MG Astor Blackstorm

Following the introduction of MG’s new base-spec Sprint model of the Astor, the limited-edition MG Astor Blackstorm SUV was withdrawn and then reinstated. Select, a mid-spec version of the Astor Blackstorm, is now available.

The Astor Blackstorm has a black appearance with red accents both inside and out. Blacked-out elements include the roof rails, front and rear bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels, and grille. Red brake callipers, ORVMs, and inserts beneath the headlights all contribute to the overall aesthetic enhancement. But unlike the Hector Snowstorm version, this one doesn’t have a blacked-out MG logo.

You are welcomed with an all-black dashboard and seat upholstery as soon as you step inside. Additionally, there are red accents inside in the shape of red inserts surrounding the AC vents and stitching on the dashboard and seats.

‘Blackstorm’ badging is also attached to the headrests of the front seats. The Astor Blackstorm comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 6-speaker sound system, a 7-inch completely digital driver’s display, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brake with auto-hold (CVT), rear parking camera, and dual front airbags all contribute to safety.

The Astor Blackstorm is only available with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (N/A) petrol engine:
