Mercedes-Benz GLE 300d AMG Line Debuts In India For ₹97.85 Lakh: Features & Specifications
The new GLE 300d 4Matic AMG Line will be available in the Indian market starting at Rs 97.85 lakh (ex-showroom), according to a statement from Mercedes-Benz India. Along with AMG-specific stylistic enhancements, the new AMG Line model replaces the 300d entry-level diesel option. Interest-driven consumers can reserve a new SUV online or by going to the dealership that is closest to them.
In terms of external changes, the 300d AMG Line has redesigned aggressive front and rear bumpers. The SUV has two AMG apron designs: the front has a chrome trim strip, while the rear has a chrome trim strip and black diffuser-like inserts. Additionally, it comes with tremolite grey 20-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels. Moreover, the front has bigger disc brakes.
Sportier front air inlets, AMG side skirts painted in the vehicle’s color, a single matte dark grey louvre with a chrome insert and black trim, and a diamond grille with a chrome Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star design are all added to the SUV. The extant GLE 300d costs an additional Rs 1.2 lakh due of all these cosmetic modifications. As previously stated, the Mercedes GLE diesel lineup’s new starting point is the 300d AMG Line model.
Once inside, the features and interior are unaltered. More features include a 360-degree camera, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a 13-speaker Burmester surround sound system, wireless charging and USB Type C ports, an infotainment system with a touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a transparent bonnet function, electric sun blinds, a panoramic sunroof, and much more.
The same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that generates 550 Nm of peak torque and 269 horsepower powers the new 300d 4Matic AMG Line model. It has an integrated starter-generator (ISG) with a 48V mild hybrid that produces an additional 20 horsepower and 200 Nm. A 9-speed automatic transmission with 4Matic technology is mated to the engine. According to Mercedes-Benz, the SUV has a top speed of 230 kph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 6.9 seconds.
