Mercedes-AMG G 63 Unveiled at ₹3.60 Crore Key Details
Before any options, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 was introduced to the Indian market for 3.60 crore ex-showroom. More than 120 units from the initial batch have already been reserved. Mercedes-Benz is now accepting reservations for deliveries scheduled for Q3 2025. The SUV has new features, mild-hybrid technology, and a revised design that keeps its famous form.
Details of the Mercedes-AMG G 63
The handmade 4.0-liter V8 engine powers the 2025 G 63. It has a maximum power output of 576 horsepower and a maximum torque output of 850 Nm. Additionally, it gains an additional 20 horsepower thanks to the mild hybrid technology. A 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is the gearbox in use. If the driver prefers manual control, paddle shifters are also available.

Additionally, Mercedes provides Race Start, which is basically launch control. The Mercedes-AMG G 63 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.3 seconds when this feature is used.
Mercedes-AMG G 63: Capability to go off-road
The AMG G 63 has an impressive 700 mm water wading depth and 229 mm of ground clearance. It can remain stable at an incline of 35 degrees, although the approach angle is 31 degrees.
What’s new with the Mercedes-AMG G 63?
The G 63’s design has undergone some modifications by Mercedes. It now has grille vertical slats, just like the AMG vehicles. In addition to the dark chrome finish, new color options are available for the radiator grille. The size’s alloy wheels are now up to 22 inches in diameter.
Also available is a brand-new keyless entry system, which is unique for the G-Class. Additionally, the SUV has been modified with an MBUX touchscreen infotainment system that now supports Apple CarPlay and wifi Android Auto. An 18-speaker Burmester sound system is included with it.
