Mahindra XUV 3XO will have Significant Feature Improvements Over XUV300
Mahindra has revealed further details about the XUV 3XO, the redesigned XUV300, hinting at the future compact SUV’s plenty of features. This is the third teaser for the 3XO that Mahindra has made public.
1. Segment-first panoramic sunroof coming soon for XUV 3XO
2. Adrenox Connect app now offers remote functionalities.
3. XUV400 EV’s two 10.25-inch screens are acquired.
The second teaser confirms that the 3XO will add a panoramic sunroof to the list of segment-first features originally offered by the XUV300, which included dual-zone climate control. The most recent teaser depicts the 3XO’s AC system being controlled remotely via a smartphone; although the Mahindra compact SUV’s remote features are not brand-new—owners can still utilize the BlueSense app for this—the company has since released the Adrenox Connect app. Along with diagnostic tools, anticipate further remote features like infotainment control and door unlock/lock.
Prior spy photos of the XUV 3XO verified that it will have the same features as the recently modified XUV400 EV, such as the two 10.25-inch screens for the infotainment and digital driver display. If ADAS is available for the 3XO is still unknown. If it happens, the small SUV will acquire this safety feature together with the Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet.
The 110 horsepower, 1.2 liter turbo-petrol, 131 horsepower, 1.2 liter direct-injection turbo-petrol, and 117 horsepower, 1.5 liter diesel engine options will remain available for the XUV 3XO. Mahindra’s 131hp petrol engine will be available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic and manual gearbox from Aisin, while the other two will still be available with 6-speed manual and AMT transmissions.
As previously reported, the XUV 3XO will cost more than the XUV300, which makes sense when taking into consideration the additional features and design modifications. As the April 29 launch date of the XUV 3XO approaches, more information will become available.
