The release date for Bagman, the upcoming horror film starring Daisy Jones & the Six’s Sam Claflin, has been revealed by Lionsgate ahead of its trailer debut this coming Thursday. The official poster for the movie, which showcases a spooky puppet that resembles a doll, was also released by the studio.
What date is the Bagman release?
On September 20, Bagman is slated to premiere in theaters, where it will squarely compete with Apple’s Wolfs, starring George Clooney and Brad Pitt. Directed by Colm McCarthy, it is based on a John Hulme screenplay. Antonia Thomas, Caréll Rhoden, Steven Cree, Steven Pettigrew, Adelle Leonce, Peter McDonald, Henry Pettigrew, and Will Davis are joining Claflin. Wyck Godfrey, Isaac Klausner, John Fischer, and Marty Bowen are the producers.
The film’s summary describes how a family becomes entangled in a nightmare while being pursued by a cunning, legendary beast. Parents have forewarned their children about the fabled “Bagman” for centuries, warning them that the man kidnaps helpless youngsters and puts them in a foul, decaying sack where they disappear forever. When Patrick McKee was a little boy, he barely avoided an incident like that, which scarred him for the rest of his life. The safety of Patrick’s wife Karina and son Jake is now in jeopardy due to the return of his childhood tormentor.
