The 2025 LG Gram laptop series will be unveiled by LG Electronics in January during CES 2025. Among the models in the portfolio are the Gram Pro, Gram Pro 2-in-1, Gram, and Gram Book. While keeping the series’ renownedly lightweight design, these models provide enhanced performance and productivity thanks to on-device AI capabilities driven by LG’s gram AI technology.
New AI Features with Gram AI
Gram Chat On-Device, a feature of the LG Gram laptops from 2025, uses a small AI model to process data locally. This eliminates the need for an internet connection and guarantees fast and safe functioning. Time Travel, which enables users to view previously viewed documents, multimedia files, and web sites, is one of the main functions.
Additionally, the laptops have Gram Chat Cloud, which offers cloud-based AI services and is powered by GPT-4o. This involves integrating calendar and email services for communication and schedule management, as well as having access to a comprehensive knowledge base. For the first year, the cloud service is free.
The laptops offer a customized experience that adjusts to the needs of the user by fusing local and cloud-based artificial intelligence.
Enhancements in Performance with Intel Processors
The newest processors from Intel power the new Gram laptops. While the Intel Core Ultra V-Series (Lunar Lake) improves AI-based capabilities, the Intel Core Ultra H-Series (Arrow Lake) concentrates on traditional PC performance.
While Lunar Lake versions incorporate Microsoft’s “Copilot+” capabilities for features like AI picture production and real-time video subtitle translation, Arrow Lake models offer better processing and graphics performance.
