Launched At Rs. 2.39 Lakh, The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450

The Guerrilla 450, Royal Enfield’s second 450cc motorbike, debuted globally in Barcelona, Spain, to great expectation. Five color schemes have been used to portray it: Brava Blue, Yellow Ribbon, Gold Dip, Playa Black, and Smoke. While the Dash version gives Gold Dip and Playa Black, the Flash variant has Brava Blue and Yellow Ribbon. Furthermore, Playa Black and Smoke are available for the Analog version.

With features galore, the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 caters to both domestic and foreign markets. Similar to the Himalayan 450, the high-spec model has a circular TFT instrument console with turn-by-turn navigation and connectivity functions. A circular LED headlamp, elegant LED turn signals, ride modes, a sporty body design, and a slipper/assist clutch are some of the key features.

The neo-retro roadster has a wheelbase of 1,440 mm and dimensions of 2,090 mm in length, 833 mm in width, and 1,125 mm in height. The motorcycle has a wet weight of 185 kg and a seat height of 780 mm. It has an impressive 11-liter fuel tank. The new 452 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine is used, and it has good performance.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 Performance : Specifications
Engine : 452 cc liquid-cooled engine
Power : 40 PS
Torque : 40 Nm
Gearbox : Six-Speed
Ground Clearance : 169 mm
Fuel Tank Capacity : 11 Litres

With a six-speed transmission, the powertrain generates a peak torque of 40 Nm and a maximum power of slightly over 40 PS. The Triumph Speed 400 is the primary rival of the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, weighing 9 kg more. It is suspended on telescopic forks up front and an offset monoshock suspension system with pre-load adjustability down back. It has 17-inch black alloy wheels on both the front and rear. At 169 mm, there is ground clearance.

It does not use the more costly Showa USDs found on the Himalayan in order to save production costs, and this serves to effectively position the motorcycle aggressively in terms of pricing. The suspension has been adjusted with everyday usage and touring in mind, and the main frame is a modified version of the unit found in its dual-purpose adventure touring sister.

The entry-level Dash is priced at Rs. 2.49 lakh, the top-tier Flash model at Rs. 2.54 lakh, and the base Analog variant costs Rs. 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
