The EnerVenue Energy Rack, which can be freely combined to meet changing storage needs, has been introduced by EnerVenue. Each rack is made up of fully integrated Energy Storage Vessels (ESVs) in 150 and 102 kWh configurations.
The EnerVenue Energy Rack comprises all of the wiring and connections needed for a quick and easy integration into specially designed containers or structures, as well as EnerVenue’s ESV battery technology and bespoke Battery Management System (BMS) hardware. Energy Racks can be installed safely in interior buildings or outdoor-rated enclosures. They have an optimized rack size for usage in both 1000 VDC and 1500 VDC systems.
Customers can install renewable energy storage systems with previously unheard-of speed and ease by using racks made especially for EnerVenue ESVs, which come with all the equipment needed for the battery management system and the vessels already installed.
“Stationary energy storage customers want easily scalable battery architecture, straightforward installation, and a high-density solution that takes up a minimal footprint” said Randall Selesky, CRO, EnerVenue. “The EnerVenue Energy Rack addresses these market needs head-on, offering a pre-engineered and assembled design that maximises energy density while reducing integration and onsite installation labor costs. Our customers get complete flexibility to install and connect as many fully assembled Energy Racks as their energy storage use cases require – simple as that. We’re looking forward to the accelerated pace at which customers will be able to implement new energy storage operations and scale existing installations with our stackable rack units.”
Interlocking modules, the Energy Racks are easily assembled inline or stacked up to three stories high. The system provides lifespan with low maintenance costs by avoiding any risk of thermal runaway and being maintainable at the component level. Integrators can simply and safely scale into the MWh range by connecting the Energy Racks in their warehouse environments to form a “Energy Venue.”
With their 30-year/30,000 cycle projected lifetime, 2- to 12-hour discharge rates, and ability to cycle up to three times a day without a break, ESVs allow developers, integrators, and owners to create innovative applications and business models.
