iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro Unveiled in India With Curved AMOLED Display and a Slim Design
The Z9, Z9 Lite 5G, and Z9x 5G are the models of iQOO’s Z9 line. Two new gadgets have been added to the Vivo sub-brand’s inventory. These are the Z9s and Z9s Pro models from iQOO. There are certain parallels between the two devices. They are marketed as the thinnest and quickest curved-screen phones in the sector.
Specifications of the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro
The 6.7-inch 3D curved AMOLED display that comes with the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro. Both phones feature a refresh rate of 120Hz and an FHD+ resolution. With a powerful peak brightness of 4,500 nits, the Z9s Pro provides unobstructed outdoor visibility. The Z9s, meanwhile, has a brightness of 1,800 nits.
In terms of design, the iQOO Z9s has an outwardly projecting camera module that takes the form of a pill and has two oblong shapes that house the camera sensors and Aura light LED. Conversely, the flagship iQOO 12 features a squircle island, which is present on the Z9s Pro. The basic and pro versions of both phones have curved screens and measure 0.749mm only, making them the slimmest in the market.
There are two back cameras on the iQOO Z9s pair. A 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS capability is part of the configuration. While the Z9s Pro sports an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, the Z9s sports a 2MP portrait lens. Both phones have 4K video capabilities and AI Erase and AI Photo Enhance functions.
The Z9s Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the iQOO Z9s is outfitted with a Dimensity 7300 processor. Both phones include 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM (16GB on the Z9s Pro). Onboard is a liquid cooling system made by VC. The same 5,500mAh battery pack powers them as well. The Z9s Pro can only support 80W of rapid charging, whereas the Z9s supports 44W. The smartphones’ operating system, Funtouch OS, is based on Android 14 and receives two years’ worth of software updates.
Cost of the iQOO Z9s series
While the Z9s Pro is available in Flamboyant Orange and Luxe Marble hues, the iQOO Z9s is available in Onyx Green and Titanium Matte. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB Z9s models cost at Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999, respectively. The price of the 12GB + 256GB option is Rs 23,999. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB versions of the Z9s Pro cost Rs 24,999 and Rs 26,999, respectively. Retail price for the top-tier 16GB + 256GB combination is Rs 28,999.
