iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro Launch: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a Brightness of 9300+, Starting at $350
China has made the iQOO Pad 2 series official. Powered by the Snapdragon and Dimensity chipsets, respectively, the iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro are the two devices in the series. The details, attributes, and costs of both gadgets are shown below.
iQOO Pad 2 Features and Cost
The 12.05-inch LCD panel on the iQOO Pad 2 has the following features: a 7.1:5 aspect ratio, a 2.8K resolution of 2800 x 1968 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, 600 nits of peak brightness, support for HDR, P3 color gamut, and 10-bit colors. It features an 8-megapixel back camera with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The Pad 2 is equipped with a 10,000mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging, an 8 GB / 12 GB LPDDR5x RAM, and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU. There are three different storage capacities available for the tablet: 128 GB (UFS 3.1), 256 GB (UFS 4.0), and 512 GB (UFS 4.0).
Additional features of the iQOO Pad 2 include a six-speaker setup, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.4, a 3D VC cooling system (with a 27500mm2 heat dissipation surface), and a USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1). Finally, the item weighs 589.2 grams and has dimensions of 266.3 x 192 x 6.57 mm.
The Pad 2 is priced at 2,499 Yuan (~$350), 2,799 Yuan (~$395), 3,099 Yuan (~$435), and 3,399 Yuan (~$480) for the 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB versions, respectively. It comes in a variety of hues, including Gray Crystal, Lan Ting (blue), and Silver Wing.
iQOO Pad 2 Pro Features and Cost
The larger device, the iQOO Pad 2 Pro, has dimensions of 289.56 x 198.32 x 6.64 mm and weighs 679 grams. A 13-inch LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz, a peak brightness of 900 nits, and 10-bit colors is housed within. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front and a 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back.
The Pad 2 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus CPU, 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a 66W rapid charging 11,500mAh battery. It has 256 GB and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage available. The Pro model has the following connectivity options: USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 1), Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, Wi-Fi 7. Eight speakers and a 3D VC cooling system with a 37,000mm2 heat dissipation area are among the additional features.
Android 14 powers the iQOO Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro, with OriginOS 4 installed on top. Furthermore, supplementary peripherals like a keyboard and stylus are supported by both devices.
