iQOO Neo10 and Neo10 Pro Released with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3/Dimensity 9400 and More
Release of the iQOO Neo10/Pro: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 6400mm² VC Cooling, Dimensity 9400, Q2 Gaming Chip
The much awaited performance-focused Neo10 series from iQOO has made its official debut in China. It has strong new processors, a redesigned camera island, and new software features targeted at gamers.
The company offers a range of high-end specifications with two models: the regular Neo10 and the more expensive Neo10 Pro.
1. Display and design
Users of last year’s Nro9 series may recognize the Neo10 series because of its virtually identical flat design. There are a few intriguing adjustments, though. The side and top bezels are now thinner, measuring just 1.4 mm. The camera island on the back has been redesigned, and the vegan leather version also offers a fresh appearance, even though the central frame is still composed of plastic.
A 6.78-inch 1.5K+ 144Hz 8T LTPO flat screen is a feature shared by the iQOO Neo10 and Neo10 Pro. The display’s smooth graphics and brilliant color reproduction make it ideal for both gaming and media usage. The maximum brightness of the display is 1800 nits worldwide and 4500 nits locally. For comparison, this is higher than the Neo9 series’ max of 3000 nits and HBM of 1400 nits.
Both phones have a sophisticated 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which replaces the Neo9 series’ optical scanner.
2. Battery and performance
The iQOO 13’s Q2 gaming chip powers the Neo10 series; the Neo10 Pro has the Dimensity 9400 chipset, while the Neo10 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The Neo10 series features a 6400mm² VC cooling system for longer gaming sessions. The flagship OnePlus 13 has a 9,925 mm² VC cooling system, for comparison.
With a frame rate perception engine that guarantees steady frame rates for popular titles like Genshin Impact, both devices are made to provide a smooth gaming experience.
The Neo10 series’ long battery life is further enhanced by the enormous 6100mAh battery that powers both phones. This is an improvement over the Neo9 series’ 5160mAh. The phones can be charged up to 50% in 15 minutes thanks to 120W rapid charging and support for the 100W PPS protocol, which reduces the amount of time customers must wait for their phones to prepare.
3. Camera
The Sony IMX921 primary camera sensor is featured in both the Neo10 and Neo10 Pro, providing remarkable imaging capabilities. While the normal model has an 8MP ultrawide lens, the Pro model goes one step farther with a 50MP ultrawide camera.
Both versions have the latest VCS human-eye bionic technology and proprietary OIS super optical image stabilization, which guarantee steady and sharp images under a variety of circumstances. Additionally, iQOO has incorporated a number of flagship image algorithms to improve motion capture, night sceneries, and portraiture.
