Apple is preparing a few significant hardware releases for early 2024, as reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. Gurman forecasts in the Power On email that the business will launch the new M3 MacBook Airs as well as the upcoming iPad Pro and iPad Air models, which are anticipated to be available in two sizes each, in March. According to Gurman, Apple won’t have the Mac Studio and Mac Pro ready for release until at least the end of 2024, and they might even wait until 2025. The Mac Studio and Mac Pro will probably arrive much later than the M3.
According to Gurman, Apple intends to clearly differentiate between the models with the launching of its new i Pads in order to help customers make less difficult decisions.
The iPad Pro is anticipated to have an OLED display, Apple’s new M3 CPU, and be available in two sizes: 11 and 13 inches. Gurman claims Apple will also offer a new Magic Keyboard designed just for the Pro. On the other hand, the iPad Air will feature the M2 chip and be available in two sizes: 10.9 inches and a new 12.9-inch model. The modifications should make it easier for consumers to determine which iPad model best suits their needs by emphasising the distinctions between the high-end, midrange, and standard models.
Gurman predicts that the M3 MacBook Air, available in standard 13- and 15-inch models, would also likely be released in March. Apple might discontinue the 2020 M1 MacBook Air at that point as well. Its higher-end models, the Mac Studio and Mac Pro, will be last to get the M3 upgrade.
