Hyundai Inster, The Tata Punch EV Challenger, Will Launch In India

Hyundai wants to make a significant impact in the SUV market with its lineup. Given the growing demand for SUVs and crossovers, the South Korean automaker intends to introduce the Hyundai Inster, which has previously been digitally unveiled, as one of the most reasonably priced vehicles to India. The Hyundai Inster, an inexpensive EV, is anticipated to be introduced to the Indian passenger car market in the second half of 2026.

When it launches, the Hyundai Inster will go up against the Hyundai Creta EV, which will be the company’s next electric vehicle in India, along with the Kona EV and Ioniq 5. The Tata Punch EV will face competition from the Inster, which will debut as a micro-SUV.
