Huawei Released the Pura 70 Ultra and Pura 70 Pro+ with a 50MP 1-inch Kirin 9010 Camera Sensor
In China, Huawei has unveiled the Pura 70 series of premium phones. Four variants are available in the lineup: Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, Pura 70 Pro+, and Pura 70 Ultra.
The Pura 70 Ultra and Pura 70 Pro+ are powered by the Kirin 9010 chipset, which is an improved variant of the Kirin 9000s that drives the Mate 60 series. Two large cores functioning at 2.30GHz, six medium cores at 2.18GHz, and four mini cores at 1.55GHz make up the chipset. It has the Maleoon 910 GPU for graphics, which is also compatible with the Kirin 9000s.
Huawei Pura 70 Ultra and Pura 70 Pro+ Features and Specifications
The XMAGE picture system of the Huawei Pura 70 series has a one-inch, 50-megapixel camera sensor. It has an inbuilt expandable and contractable telescopic lens construction that rotates mechanically. It can withstand at least 300,000 expansions and contractions, according to the business. Moreover, it is capable of taking sharp pictures even at 300 km/h. The primary camera has sensor-shift anti-shake technology for steady photos and a variable aperture range of f/1.6 to f/4.0. It comes with a 50-megapixel telephoto macro camera with OIS support and a 40-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
The same f/1.4~f/4.0 variable aperture primary camera with OIS capability is found on the Pura 70 Pro+. The retractable lens system, available only on the Ultra model, is absent from it. It features a 48-megapixel telephoto macro camera in addition to a 12.5-megapixel ultra-wide lens. The front-facing 13-megapixel camera on both phones.
The 6.8-inch OLED LTPO panel on the Pura 70 Pro+ and Ultra variants features second-generation Kunlun glass, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, a refresh rate of 1Hz–120Hz, a resolution, and 1440Hz PWM dimming. The Ultra edition features a 5,200mAh battery, while the Pro+ has a 5,050mAh battery. 80W wireless and 100W wired charging are supported for both phones. Additionally, 20W reverse wireless charging is available for both phones. With features including dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, an IR blaster, and satellite calling, both phones are powered by Harmony OS 4.2. Last but not least, the phones have an IP68-rated casing.
Prices and Availability for Huawei’s Pura 70 Ultra and Pura 70 Pro+
There are two variants of the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra available: 16GB+1TB for 10,999 Yuan (~$1,520) and 16GB+512GB for 9,999 Yuan (~$1,380). Shades such as Star Black, Starburst White, Mocha Brown, and Chanson Green are available.
There are two variants of the Pura 70 Pro+ available: 16GB+1TB for 8,999 Yuan (~$1,245) and 16GB+512GB for 7,999 Yuan (~$1,105). It is available in Phantom Black, Light Wooven Silver, and String White among other colors. It is possible to buy both phones in China.
