Huawei FreeBuds SE 3 Debuts with Excellent Sound Quality at a Reasonable Cost

The FreeBuds SE 3, which is anticipated to be released next year, was unexpectedly unveiled by Huawei. At a reasonable price, the new earphones offer notable improvements in terms of appearance, functionality, and user experience.

Features of the Huawei FreeBuds SE 3

Available in Streamer Gold and Interstellar Black, the FreeBuds SE 3 boasts a sleek, small design and a textured charging case that resembles leather. The actual earbuds have two different finishes: glossy buds and matte, black or white handles with silver embellishments.

The FreeBuds SE 3 are comfortable earbuds that weigh only 3.8 grams each. For clean and steady sound, each earbud has a 10mm dynamic driver that delivers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Its IP54 rating guarantees that it is resistant to dust and water spills.

One notable aspect is the battery life, which allows for up to 42 hours of use with the charging case. Three hours of playback are possible with a short 10-minute charge, and nine hours of continuous use are possible with a full charge. The case has a 510mAh cell and the earphones have a 41mAh battery. It takes 60 minutes to completely charge the set.

Huawei has included physical buttons on the case for manual pairing; opening the case will initiate automatic pairing. The earbuds’ improved touch sensors enable simple functions like triple-tapping to skip songs and double-tapping to play or pause music.

The FreeBuds SE 3’s Bluetooth 5.4 compatibility guarantees dependable connections and low latency performance, making it suitable for both casual users and gamers.

Cost and accessibility

The FreeBuds SE 3 is presently on sale for 179 yuan (about $25) less than its original price of 199 yuan.
