Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 TWS Earbuds with HarmonyOS Next, ANC Released
The true wireless stereo (TWS) Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 earphones were introduced in China on Tuesday. In addition to the Huawei Mate X6 and Mate 70 series smartphones, the new audio wearable was also introduced. The brand’s first wireless earphones to come with HarmonyOS Next are the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4. It is anticipated that this new operating system will facilitate rapid pairing with other Huawei devices. ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) is a feature that reduces undesirable background noise, and the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 has two drivers.
The cost of the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 earbuds are available for pre-order in China in Snow White, Spruce Green, and Obsidian Black, and they cost CNY 1,499 (about Rs. 18,000). The sale will begin on December 4.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 Features and Details
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 are in-ear devices with a micro-flat tweeter and an 11mm four-magnet dynamic driver. They have a 14 Hz to 48 kHz frequency response range. They are certified for Hi-Res and offer spatial audio and active noise cancellation (ANC).
Three silicon microphones and one bone conduction microphone are built into each earbud to block out undesired background noise. They are claimed to withstand noise levels of 100 dB and wind speeds of 10 m/s. The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 have HarmonyOS multi-device connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual device connectivity. They have an IP54 rating for water and perspiration resistance. The new L2HC 4.0 codec is also supported by the earphones.
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 has a wear detection feature and touch controls. With compatible Huawei phones or tablets, they provide voice assistant, smart listening, and HD recording capabilities.
The charging case includes a 510mAh battery, while each earbud has a 55mAh battery. Up to 22 hours of music playback time on a single charge is claimed to be possible with their combo. Up to 4.5 hours of music playback time on a single charge is claimed for the earbuds alone. Each earbud weighs 5.8 grams and has dimensions of 29.1 x 21.8 x 23.7 mm. The charging case weighs 47 grams and measures 46.9 x 65.9 x 24.5 mm.
