HTC U24 Pro Unveils: 6.8″ 120Hz OLED, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 Design, 50MP Triple Cameras
Beginning at about $585, HTC has introduced the U24 Pro in Taiwan. A 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 7-series CPU, three 50-megapixel back cameras, wireless charging capabilities, and other features are among the smartphone’s most notable characteristics.
Details and characteristics of the HTC U24 Pro
The HTC U24 Pro has a 6.8-inch OLED dual-curved display on the front that is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and has FHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is also a dual-color LED notification light on the front of the device.
The device has a 50-megapixel front camera for taking pictures. Its rear features an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 50-megapixel telephoto portrait lens with a 2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS capability. Artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities include 4K video recording, AI-optimized group photographs, AI gesture GIFs, and AI low-light portrait enhancement improve the camera system.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage are all included in the HTC U24 Pro. With a 4,600mAh battery, it is capable of 15W wireless charging, 5W reverse wireless charging, and 60W rapid charging. Android 14 is preinstalled on the device.
Other features of the HTC U24 Pro include a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C connector, dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. It has an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. The U24 Pro weighs 198.7g and has a thickness of 8.98mm.
Price of HTC U24 Pro
In Taiwan, the HTC U24 Pro is now available in two variants. The 12GB+256GB base model costs TWD 18,990 (~$585) and the premium 12GB+512GB variant is priced at TWD 20,999 (~$650). Space Blue and Twilight White are the two color selections that are offered. It’s unclear when the U24 Pro will be available in areas outside of China.
