American actress, screenwriter, director, and DJ Jessica Banks was born on February 18, 1986. Professionally, she is better known as Banks. She was raised in Jamaica Queens and is well renowned for her acting skills as well as her work as a professional DJ and an outspoken supporter of the LGBTQ community. She is the child of Joanne Davis and Edward Banks, both of New York.
