Honor X9c was launched in Malaysia on Tuesday. With up to 12GB of RAM, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. With 66W wired charging capabilities, it is powered by a 6,600mAh battery. The phone has a 2 m drop resistance, an IP65M dust and water resistant rating, and 360 degrees of water resistance. An OIS-backed 108-megapixel dual rear camera unit is included with the Honor X9c. It replaces the Honor X9b, which was released in India in February of this year.

Starting at MYR 1,499 (about Rs. 28,700) for the 12GB + 256GB model, the Honor X9c costs MYR 1,699 (approximately Rs. 32,500) for the 12GB + 512GB model. The pricing has not been disclosed, although it is also featured on the global website with an 8GB + 256GB setup. Three color options are available for the phone: Titanium Black, Titanium Purple, and Jade Cyan. Pre-orders can be placed for it in Singapore through an online retail store.

The Honor X9c has a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,224 x 2,700 pixel) AMOLED screen with eye safety features, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a typical brightness of 4,000 nits. A Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU, an Adreno A710 GPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of inbuilt storage power the phone. It comes with MagicOS 8.0, which is based on Android 14.
The Honor X9c’s optics include a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 108-megapixel primary rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). For selfies, a 16-megapixel sensor is located up front. The phone is designed to survive drops of up to two meters. Additionally, it boasts a 360-degree water resistant rating and an IP65M dust resistance rating.
A 6,600mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging powers the Honor X9c. Dual 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, GPS, and a USB Type-C connector are among the phone’s connectivity options. The phone weighs 189g and has dimensions of 162.8 x 75.5 x 7.98mm.
