HMD Arc has been launched in Thailand as the latest affordable smartphone by the Finnish company.

The 6.52-inch HD+ (576 x 1,280 pixel) LCD screen that comes with the HMD Arc has a refresh rate of 60 Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a maximum brightness of 460 nits. It weighs 185.4g and has measurements of 166.4 x 76.9 x 8.95mm. Depending on the market, the phone has an IP52 (Europe) or IP54 dust and water resistance rating.
A Unisoc 9863A chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage power the HMD Arc. Android 14 (Go Edition) powers it. A microSD card can be used to increase the storage capacity to 128GB. According to the business, quarterly security upgrades would be provided for two years for its most recent smartphone.
The HMD Arc’s optics include a 5-megapixel selfie camera set inside a waterdrop-shaped notch on the front and a 13-megapixel primary back camera with autofocus. Bokeh, night mode, professional mode, slow motion, fast snapshot, filters, time-lapse, and panoramic are among the capabilities that the camera supports. An LED flash has also been incorporated into the module by HMD. It has a microphone unit and a single speaker.
The 5,000mAh battery of the HMD handset supports 10W wired charging. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, a USB Type-C connection, and a 3.5mm audio jack are among the connectivity choices. Additionally, the HMD Arc has a proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, virtual RAM compatibility, and a fingerprint sensor on the side.
