Google Docs continues to expand: the Big G has unveiled a new template library with 40 new themes.
These templates, which are available to Google Workspace clients, Workspace Individual Subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts, started rolling out on December 10, 2024.
The new collection aims to enhance documents’ usability and aesthetic appeal. These pageless templates include features like placeholder chips that make data entering easier, document tabs for improved organization, and building blocks with pre-set layouts and styles to give papers a polished, high-end appearance.
By using the “Templates” button in a new document or going to File > New > From template gallery in an existing one, users can locate these templates.
The templates cover a broad range of use cases, including journals, business proposals, press releases, and blog articles.
HR personnel are provided with alternatives such as interview guides, onboarding guides, and training manuals, while business users can utilize templates for project roadmaps, marketing strategies, and sales letters.
To ensure that the collection meets a variety of purposes, education users can get templates for reading lists and class notes separately.
This change for Google Docs comes after Google Slides recently improved its templates.
A new set of stylish templates was recently added to Google Slides to aid users in producing presentations efficiently. For corporate users, this new collection includes product roadmaps, sales pitches, and strategic strategies. Lesson plans, book reports, and project reports are examples of possibilities with an educational focus. To improve cooperation, templates for team activities, workshops, and milestone celebrations are also included. Quite adaptable!
